Rooted in Community

3V Community Resources was born in Jasper, Florida, during family and friends fellowship that followed the celebration of life for Dr. Castell Bethune-Natheen Vaughn Bryant. As we reminisced and reflected on how Castell was deeply committed to faith, family and community service, our conversation turned to how we could make a difference and have positive impact on the future.

We discussed what we felt was lacking in our neighborhood from our perspectives. As we reflected on the current state of the world, we decided that we would act in our own community to make a difference by serving the community. Our community has lost some of our old ways of togetherness and we are here to resurrect the historic foundation and work to bring us back to a stronger place of community.

The inclusion of 3V in the name started with 3 Vaughn relatives who accepted the torch to create a small group and organize efforts for community support. After some thoughtful discussion, we arrived at 3V Community Resources. Although the foundation for this organization will continue the legacy of Dr. Castell Bethune-Natheen Bryant, we embrace pillars of Vision, Voice and Victory which are synonymous with our goals and objectives.
